Welcome to the Sevenoaks Detachment 
of the Kent Army Cadet Force

The Army Cadet Force (ACF) is a voluntary youth organisation sponsored by the Ministry of Defence.   Although we have many links with both regular and reserve forces, we are not governed by their military laws.   As such, this allows us to provide military style training in a safe environment without any pressure to enlist in the armed forces.  However, it is hoped that some of our cadets will go onto join the armed forces and we fully support them in their decision.

The Sevenoaks Detachment is just one of 1700 local detachments across the country.  We aim to help young people aged between 12 to 18 develop both personally and physically by providing a range of opportunties, challenges and activities.
