The Instructors and Cadet NCO's

THE TEAM

SI Andrews: Detachment Commander

Sgt Andrews has been with the Kent Army Cadet Force since September 2004.  Previously, he spent 10 years in the Army as a member of the Coldstream Guards with postings as places such as Northern Ireland, Hong Kong, Germany and the Falkland Islands.

He is qualified to run a small bore range and we are fortunate to have our own range at the detachment.  As well as being a stickler for drill and appearance, Sgt Andrews is also a qualified Duke of Edinburgh's Award Assessor.  He enjoys all outward bound activities especially canoeing and kayaking.

SI Locke: Detachment Second-in-Command

Sgt Locke has been with the Kent ACF for 18 months.  As an ex-Royal Marine, he has a good knowledge of the military way of life.

He enjoys all aspects of physical training and recently qualified as a Sports Leader for the KACF.  Sgt Locke divides his time between the Sevenoaks Detachment and his hobbies of Thai-boxing, rock climbing, running and cycling.
